Truth, Honor, Integrity & Loyalty


  1. RESPECT. Each member is to be Honorable, Courteous, Respectful, Truthful and Trustworthy towards the guild, it's members AND non-members alike.

  2. CONTRIBUTIONS. Each Member should make a contribution to the guild, be it a large or small one.

  3. AGE REQUIREMENT. Each member is required to be at least 14 years of age at the time of their application. Exceptions may be made from time to time for outstanding younger individuals seeking membership with parental consent by Administrative approval. Person(s) under the age of 14 may be required to fax or mail a standard notarized COPPA agreement.

  4. ACTIVITY. Log on to the appropriate game server with your guild Character(s) as much as possible.  Let people know that The Legion of Angels Guild exists and have them get used to our presence.  Do not hesitate in giving our Guild web site URL http://loaguild.com to anyone you think would be a good addition to the guild.  Be HONEST about our policies & practices.  Misinformation or lying makes for dissatisfaction and "bad press". 

  5. LANGUAGE. No member shall swear or use foul, lewd, offensive or abusive language in public while wearing Guild tags or while participating/representing the Guild or while portraying themselves as a Legion of Angels Guild member.  If a fellow member or anyone not in the guild asks you to halt the language you are using be it publicly or in whisper, do so immediately and do not gain retribution on this person(s).  Remember, you may not be offended but someone else will. Failure to abide by this mandate may result in the immediate termination of your membership.

  6. MULTI-GUILDING. No [LOA] member shall be a member in another guild, except by express written consent of the [LOA] High Council Leader.   Failure to comply will result in immediate termination without further notice.   Members that have been granted permission to multi-guild will be denied member's area access and other privileges granted to loyal members.  Squad Leaders, Assistant Squad Leaders and other high ranking members are expected to be loyal to [LOA] Guild and are barred from multi-guilding.   Furthermore, [LOA] reserves the right to reject any person of whom it believes would bring harm to the guild or to any of the guild members.

  7. ACCOUNT. Each member is required to provide a single Guild Account Name with the [LOA] or -[LOA] Guild tag placed at the end of their character name. Each Member is also required to place the proper guild tag at the end of each Guild Character's Name(s). For Diablo, StarCraft and WarCraft series and their related expansion packs the Proper Guild Character Tag is: [LOA] or -[LOA]. For Diablo II and its expansion pack the proper Guild Character Tag is: _LOA or -LOA. In EVERY instance the Guild tags shall always be in CAPITAL LETTERS. For Diablo II the Character Account Name shall always be [LOA] or -[LOA] the individual characters registered to that account shall use the _LOA or -LOA tag.

  8. No member shall be a PK or PKK.

  9. ICQ. Each member is required to have the latest version of ICQ.  The ICQ account number will be provided to each High Council Member and to your Squad Leader, Assistant Squad Leader & Squad Recruiter.  If you do not have ICQ, you may download it [here].

  10. CONTACT INFORMATION. Each member is required to provide the Administration, High Council, their Squad Leader, Assistant Squad Leader and Squad Recruiter with a VALID email address and it is each member's responsibility to keep the LOA Guild Administration, High Council, their Squad Leader, Assistant Squad Leader and Squad Recruiter informed of any changes in regards to their contact information.

  11. CHARACTER ACCOUNTS. Each member is required to provide their Character account name(s) to the High Council, their Squad Leader, Assistant Squad Leader and Squad Recruiter and to post notice of the account names in our Members Forum or Public Forum if Members access has not been granted.

  12. PROFILE. Each member is requested to place our [LOA] main web site URL in their character's profile, however, this is not mandatory.   Some URL's you can use are:  http://loaguild.com, http://clik.to/loa.

  13. PROBATIONARY PERIOD. Each new member is subject to a thirty (30) day probationary period subject to High Council and Administrative review.  This gives the new member time to decide if this is the guild you want to be in and it gives the guild time to evaluate you and decide if you should be allowed into The Legion of Angels Guild.  Should you decide the guild is NOT for you, please email the High Council at: requesting that your membership be terminated.

  14. SQUAD MEETINGS. Each member is required to make a diligent attempt to attend at least 1 meetings per month with their squad.  Meeting dates and times will be posted on the Squad Home Page and/or in the Public or Squad Forums at a minimum of three (3) days in advance or by a set time from your Squad Leader. It is the members responsibility to inform your Squad Leader if you are unable to attend for any reason.  Guild and Squad meetings are held on ICQ, unless other arrangements are made by the Squad Leader. With regard to emergency meetings, we will pull in whoever is online at the time and someone will save the meeting buffer to ICQ to those that weren't online at the time.

  15. MEMBERS ONLY AREA. Access to Members Only Areas in granted after 30 - 90 days enrollment by the High Council Leaders' Approval.  you will be informed by email when you have been granted access.  DO NOT request access if you have been a member under 90 days. If you are found having given passwords to anyone else YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE TERMINATED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE.

  16. RESPONSIBILITY. It is YOUR responsibility to check all of the guild's forums and the email you registered with the guild to stay updated on news and events. You are required to access and post in the forum at least once every 30 days - There are NO exceptions. The HC & SL's will generally inform you of news and events issues, but it is not a mandatory requirement of them to inform you personally. Such notices will be posted in the forums and it is YOUR responsibility to check them daily.

  17. NEW RECRUITS:  Once a new recruit has received his/her acceptance letter from the HC, he/she MUST post acknowledgement of such in the public forum and complete any and all steps outlined in the acceptance email.  He/she MUST also inform his/her SL, ASL & SR of his/her ICQ UIN & email address and guild account name.

  18. HOME CHANNEL. The Legion of Angels Guild PC Gamers Association home channel on battlenet is public channel Beginners Only.

  19. EMAIL. The Legion of Angels Guild PC Gamers Association Administration Main Email Address is: .

  20. CHARACTER NAMES. Guild Account or Character Names shall not be lewd or offensive. A members account or character names may be rejected by the LOA Guild Administration at its sole discretion. Each member MUST obtain approval from the High Council for each Character Account Name before it may be publicly used.

  21. BATTLENET LADDER EVENTS. LOA Members are encouraged to participate in Battlenet Ladder Events. Each member desiring to participate in ladder events must request permission to do so by emailing the LOA Guild Administrator. Once approved by the Administrator the member MUST create a new character account using the Fallen Angels Squad tag: [FA-LOA] and post notice of their acceptance in the squad in the Members Forum.

  22. INACTIVE MEMBERS. Members may be terminated after 30 days of inactivity or by request of the SL, ASL or SR. Inactive members may also be terminated by the Administration and/or High Council at its discretion. Members who have not shown any forum activity will be terminated after 30 days of last activity. Inactivity is defined as: Noticeable lack of point submissions, Noticeable lack of forum activity, Noticeable lack of meeting attendance, Noticeable lack of gaming activity, Nonresponsiveness to email, Nonresponsiveness to ICQ, Failing to validate their guild account within two weeks after acceptance.

  23. LEAVE OF ABSENCE. Members may request a Leave of Absence (LOA) by emailing the LOA Guild Administrator if they are going to be inactive for any period of time exceeding 30 days. A member requesting a (LOA) MUST receive a reply email from the LOA Guild Administrator before it is granted.

  24. MEMBERSHIP ACCEPTANCE. Individuals who have properly filled out a recruitment application and subsequently received an acceptance email from the High Council Recruiting Officer are required to follow the instructions in the email to validate their membership acceptance. This consists of posting a public notice in our public forum, contacting their assigned squad leader via ICQ and whatever other steps the email may contain to validate their membership. Under NO circumstance is an individual applying for membership to use The Legion of Angels PC Gamers Association Guild tag until they have followed through with each and every step contained in the email they received.

  25. BOTS. Chat Clients or Bots are permitted to use the LOA Guild tags. Members using bots with guild tags are NOT permitted to use them to spam any channel on any game server for any purpose. Members using Bots may only use them with the guild tags if they are properly registered and approved by the LOA Guild Administration. Chat Clients or Bots must be clearly identified as such. Members found using bots to spam or being used in an inappropriate manner may be subject to immediate termination from the guild.

  26. POINTS. Members are required to turn in their point earnings on a weekly basis on Fridays no later than Midnight eastern standard time for credit during that points earning period. A Members points earning are updated on their squad page at a minimum of once every 30 days or more frequently as updates dictate. Members requiring more information on how to submit their point earnings are requested to contact their Squad Recruiter for proper point submission procedures.

  27. ROLLCALL. Each and every member is required to respond to Roll Call. The Squad Leader initiates roll call at the beginning of each month in the member’s designated squad forum. A member shall reply to the roll call post before the end of the calendar month. Roll call is also initiated by the Administration on a semiannual basis by public announcement, which is in addition to the roll call initiated by the Squad Leader. Failure to respond to roll call may result in termination of your guild membership.

  28. HARASSMENT. The Legion of Angels Guild has a zero tolerance policy in regards to harassment of members and nonmembers alike. Harassment shall not occur within this guild.

  29. HARASSMENT – DEFINED. The act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group against another, including threats, demands and unsolicited/unwanted communications. The purposes may vary, including racial prejudice, personal malice, flaming, and/or an attempt to force someone to commit an action under duress.

  30. HARASSMENT – PRIVACY POLICY. Under no circumstance are harassment matters to come into public view such as in the guild forums, a public chat room or meeting place ETC. Experience has shown matters as such are best handled privately between members without outside interference and a mutual resolution can optimally be attained between the members themselves.

  31. HARASSMENT – CHAIN OF COMMAND. Harassment violations are to follow the chain of command (CoC). A member who feels they are being harassed by another member is to first to take the issue up in private with the offending member and attempt a mutual resolution, either member may request a mediator be present, which will consist of either a ranking member or a member of the High Council. Should mediation fail the offended member shall advise the Squad Leader of the Harassing member that a harassment violation exists and explain the details of the violation(s). The Squad Leader shall advise the offending member that a harassment violation exists and he/she should cease and desist his/her actions and that the Administration and High Council are being advised for further review.

  32. HARASSMENT – DOCUMENTING. A member who believes they are being harassed should make a diligent attempt to preserve any and all documentation and evidence, which supports a harassment allegation. Documentation and evidence may include email(s), screen shots, chat logs, instant messages, forum posts, private messages etc. These documents and evidence may be requested by the Administration and/or HC for review and should not be provided to any other person(s).

  33. HARASSMENT – PENALTIES. A member who has been found guilty of harassment shall receive unsympathetic consequences. 

    - First time offenders shall receive written warning by the High Council and shall be contacted by their Squad Leader reminding the offender of the Guild’s Code of Conduct. The offending member shall be place on a 30-day probationary period and temporarily demoted to New Recruit status. His/her activity shall be closely monitored or a period of not less than 30 days. 

    - Second time offenders will receive a written reprimand from the Guild’s Administration notifying the offending member that they are in persistent violation of the Guild’s Code of Conduct. The offending member shall be demoted in rank and/or placed in the Void based upon the severity of the offense at the Administration’s discretion. 

    - Third time offenders shall have their membership terminated without further notice and will be barred from reapplying for future membership.

  34. HONOR. LOA Guild has a strict code of honor. We only want the best of gamers in our membership. If we find you to have violated our rules, requirements or ethics your membership will be terminated without further notice. Our Guild Motto is "Truth, Honor, Integrity & Loyalty" and we will stand by that until the end.
